How Do You Define Super-Affiliate?
By this point in your goal to become a successful business owner, you’re probably well aware of exactly what an affiliate is. But what do you know about being a super affiliate? There is quite a difference. However, it’s not hard to explain at all; and after you learn what a super affiliate it, you’ll definitely want to either be one or work with one.

Think of an affiliate as a basic employee of any company that works on a commission. The employee shows up, makes a sale and gets paid. Easy enough, right?

Well, now, think of the super affiliate as the employee of the month - minus the plaque with a picture. A super affiliate is one that is capable of generating a large percentage of a program’s activity.

Another way to look at defining a super affiliate is to have a look at the various places you conduct business on a daily basis. Have you ever been to a little corner store to purchase gas and a few other odd-and-end items? This store, most commonly referred to as a mom-n-pop store, is like a basic affiliate. They’re selling other people’s products.

Now look at the gigantic mega-mart up the road. This store is selling thousands upon thousands of other people’s products. The parking lot is always full and customers are always happy to shop at this store. It’s well recognized for its low prices, great customer service and huge selection. This mega-mart is the quintessential super affiliate.

That’s what being an affiliate is about: Selling other people’s items for them. To be a super affiliate, you’ll need to sell a lot of items. You’ll have to sell in bulk. You’ll have to become a big name in the affiliate industry. Is it easy to do? No, it certainly is not. However, it is what all affiliates aspire to, and some are bound to make the super status.

There are many companies out there that truly want you to become a super affiliate for them. The more items you sell - the more money both you and the company make. Better yet, once you prove that you can sell more of their products than other affiliates, you’ll start to receive better pay.

Some companies with affiliate programs out there are building websites for their affiliates or, at the very least, providing them with the necessary tools to get the job done, such as links and attractive ads to help out in the process.

Once an affiliate earns the super affiliate label, they then have a lot of leverage with the particular company. This super affiliate is commanding the marketplace. He or she is controlling traffic through their tactics, and if this affiliate were to move elsewhere, the company’s earnings could seriously suffer.

Needless to say, being a super affiliate is a position of great power. You’re not just simply someone driving traffic at this point. You’re responsible for this particular company competing in the business world.

Being a super affiliate is certainly a good living. They have the respect of the merchant, the power to shift traffic and leverage over the market. It’s a dominant position.
