Charity & Causes

One of the greatest joys in becoming a successful entrepreneur is the ability to both help others to succeed, but also to help those in need across the globe.

In whatever capacity one can manage, it is important that we all contribute some of our time, energy and resources to making this world a better place. At Lady Luck Media, we are always working with the best in mind and we hold true to our beliefs and integrity so that we can do our part in this vast society.

Together we can make a difference. Lady Luck Media actively supports 2 incredible organisations in their work helping the make this planet a safer, better place for everyone.

Peace One Day

Peace One DayIt is our great pleasure to become an official patron of the Peace One Day movement, started by Jeremy Gilley and now in it's 11th year, it is the singular mission of this incredible man to create a single day of peace across the globe.

The premise is that this is a starting point for peace, for if we can achieve one day globally, we can easily do more.

In 2001, Jeremy managed to achieve his primary goal with the 192 member states of the United Nations unanimously adopting September 21st as an annual day of global cease fire and non-violence. Today it is known as Peace Day. The UN International Day of Peace on 21 September every year is not only about creating peace between nations, it’s about non-violence in our homes, communities and schools. Therefore Peace Day is relevant to every human being on the planet.

Now the objective is to introduce 3 billion people to Peace Day by 2012.

Please join us in supporting this incredible goal, visit their site at www.peaceoneday.org today.

Action Aid

Action AidI once read in an article that if we were to pool all the money in the world and distribute it evenly to every individual, it would make every single person on the planet a millionaire.

Poverty is something that shouldn't exist on this planet, yet everyday 30,000 children die from extreme poverty. That's 11 million child deaths each year from being poor.

This is unacceptable in this day and age, and we are big supporters of the great work which Action Aid does to help those in great need, especially with children.

Our children will inherit the Earth, so it is vitally important that we take care of them and teach them how to live together in peace and global support.

Please take a moment to visit the Action Aid site at www.actionaid.org.uk and do a tiny little bit to make a great big difference to someone else's life.
